ONA Consultants were awarded a significant FEED marine assurance scope from Woodside for the Scarborough Project expected for FID late 2021. The award reflects ONA’s significant expertise in understanding and quantifying the marine technical risk with building, integrating, and installing large semi-submersible facilities.
ONA were fundamental to the successful tow and installation phases of the Ichthys CPF built in Samsung Heavy Industries, Korea in 2017. The position keeping and mooring hook up strategies initiated by ONA propagated through to the successful installation of the Ichthys Venturer FPSO in the same field. Subsequent technical support to Inpex and their integrity teams laid the groundwork for seamless construction and mooring integrity management going forward.
Over the past 15 years ONA have supported Woodside providing specialist marine construction engineering, analysis, and consulting support on all past and present FPSO’s and facilities. We look forward to working through the unique EPCI integration risks associated with bringing the FEED program to completion.
ONA will be providing specialist engineering and mariner support in way of Underwater Fairlead Chain Stopper (UFCS), Chain Jacking, Mooring Pre-lay and Transport/ Float over, all consistent with our experience and established expertise in engineering, overseeing, and delivering robust technical outcomes of world class standard.
